Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Work Setting: Art gallery

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Electronic mail, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, Database software, Basic computer skills (will train), General office equipment, Computerized bookkeeping systems, Internet competency

Staff Responsibility: Not required

Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Perform cash deposits, Balance daily transactions, Determine staffing requirements, Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise, Customer service oriented

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Work Location Information: Rural community

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less, Staff in various areas of responsibility
