Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, some college or technical training.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Area of Specialization: General carpentry, Rough carpentry, Finish carpentry, Framing, Exterior siding, wood, Exterior siding, vinyl, Custom cabinets

Specific Skills: Determine specifications and calculate requirements, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join mouldings, wood materials, drywall and plastics materials, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Build floor beams and subflooring, Build walls and install partitions, Build and install framing for dropped ceilings, counters, indirect lighting, display cases, etc., Build built-in-place pitched roof systems, Install roof flashing, Install drywall, Install insulation, Build porches and verandas, Build decks and fences, Build and install platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders, Operate power tools

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat

Work Site Environment: At heights, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
