Terms: This is a temporary, part time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: at least three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Not-for-profit organization

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: General office equipment, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet software, Excel, Accounting software, Simply Accounting

Type of Bookkeeping: Computerized

Specific Skills: Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, Post journal entries, Prepare trial balance of books, Reconcile accounts, Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, Prepare tax returns

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Work Location Information: Rural community

Own Tools/Equipment: Computer, Printer, Internet access

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks
