Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings.

Salary: will be $10.00 to $12.00 per hour for a 45 hour week.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have WHMIS (workplace hazardous material information system).

Work Setting: Office building, Cleaning service company, Commercial facility

Supervisory Experience: Light duty cleaners

Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services, Prepare work schedules, Assist cleaners in performing duties

Additional Skills: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check (abstract), Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods

Ability to Supervise: Working groups

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing
