Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have some high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 1 or A).

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer

Type of Travel: Long-haul

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Various locations
