Work Setting: Retail pet shop

Type of Pets Groomed: All breeds of dogs, Cats

Pet Grooming Experience: Bathing/shampooing, Anal glands treatment, Clipping and styling, Ear cleaning, Flea baths, Nail clipping, Show clipping, Teeth cleaning

Specific Animal Care Skills: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Additional Skills: Maintain inventory and order supplies, Keep records of animals treated, Supervise helpers

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information: Salary: Starting at $10/hour or 60% commission - whichever is higher.
