Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be $30,000.00 to $35,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school, completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Work Setting: Fish plant

Specific Skills: Take samples of products at various stages of processing, Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards, Conduct routine tests for product specifications, Grade or sort raw materials or finished products

Additional Skills: Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies

Essential Skills: Writing, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information: Must have knowledge of HACCP system Some training in Quality Control Programs is also required Good Computer skills are required for MS Word and Excel.
