Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Forklift Operator Certification, WHMIS Certificate.

Type of Machine or Equipment Set Up or Operation: Saws, Hand tools

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read specifications or follow verbal instructions, Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products, Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail

Work Site Environment: Noisy, Hot, Cold/refrigerated

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Continuous learning
