Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $10.50 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, Customer Service Training.

Recreational Concentration: Aquatics, Dance or movement, Acting/Improvisation, Creative Play

Type of Clients: Pre-school children, Children, Adolescents, Persons with physical disabilities

Work Setting: Community centre

Activity Focus: Leading/instructing groups, Patrolling/supervising activities

Specific Skills: Plan and carry out recreational activities, Attend to clients with special needs, Enforce safety rules and regulations, Schedule activities

Additional Skills: Prepare reports, Train and supervise staff, Keep logs and maintain records

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Travel expenses paid by employer

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use

Other Information: Candidates must be currently studying education, recreology or in a related program. Please send your resumé in French.
