Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days and weekends. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $9.00 to $12.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
Notes: bonus, piece work, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have some high school, completed high school, some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: a modicum is required.

Credentials required: The applicant should have 1st Period Apprentice, 2nd Period Apprentice.

Surface Preparation Experience: Drywall taping/patching, Sandblasting, Water/hydroblasting

Type of Equipment Experience: Brush painting, Roller painting

Wood Finishing Specializations: Graining, Staining, Glazing

Testing Equipment Experience: Thermometers

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Specific Skills: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, Repair cracks and holes, Mix paint to desired colour and texture, Measure, cut wallpaper and other wall coverings, Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

Additional Skills: Supervise other workers

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Uniform

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
