Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $12.50 per hour for a 45 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Travel Experience: Local

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Load and unload goods, Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Assemble, install and set-up merchandise

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines, Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking

Other Information: Driving straight truck doing deliveries in the HRM with Helper. Lifting is required. Please include copy of Driver’s Abstract with application.
