Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working evenings and nights. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $12.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Work Setting: Trucking company

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pack and unpack goods, Stack goods, Store cargo and materials, Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products

Additional Skills: Build pallets, Ship orders

Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Other Information: Experience working a propane forklift is required. Long term opportunity to become permanent working Sunday to Thursday 4pm start
