Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $14.46 to $15.65 per hour for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Continuing care assistant certification.

Work Setting: Home for the aged, Nursing or convalescent home

Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Supervise patients’ exercise routines, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Collect specimens

Additional Skills: Supply and empty bed pans, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens, Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records
