Terms: This is a permanent, part time job, which requires working days. Shift work is involved.

Salary: will be $20.00 to $35.00 per hour for a 20 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training, completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Certification by a provincial or territorial association, Eligible for certification by a provincial or territorial association.

Area of Specialization: Machinery and components, Steam, condensation and water systems, Thermal power, Moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures

Work Setting: Consulting engineering company

Specific Skills: Read blueprints, Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications, Test machines and equipment, Participate in machinery installation, repair and maintenance

Additional Skills/Knowledge/Expertise: Estimate costs and materials

Work Site Environment: Confined spaces

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Attention to detail

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous learning
