Terms: This is a permanent, full time job

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Accident or incident reports

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Continuous learning
