Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $10.50 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have some college or technical training, some university.

Experience: is an asset.

Establishment / Work Setting Experience: Nature museum, Interpretive centre

Area of Technical Specialization: Interpretation/guiding

Specific Interpretation / Guiding Skills: Prepare program content, Deliver and evaluate programs, Follow guidelines for protecting artifacts or sites, Handle complaints

Additional Skills: Prepare reports, Operate audio-visual equipment, Operate computer systems

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Work Location Information: Rural area

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
