Terms: This is a permanent, full time job Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be $27.78 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least five years’ experience.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Power Engineering Trade Certification, Stationary Engineering Trade Certification, Stationary Engineer 1st Class, Stationary Engineer 2nd Class, Driver’s License.

Type of Equipment: Computerized control systems, Low pressure boilers, High pressure boilers, Pumps, Turbines, Diesel generators, Electric generators, Motors, Valves, Gauges, Alarms, Meters, Water and wastewater treatment, Distributed control systems (DCS)

Specific Skills: Operate automated or computerized control systems, Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure, Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Perform routine equipment maintenance, Clean and lubricate machinery and components, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities, Write plant or building operation reports, Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures, Use computerized Building Automation System, Use computerized Preventive Maintenance System

Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices, Coordinate maintenance activities of trade contractors
