Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Also: medical, dental, vision, RRSP benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, Inventory control software, Basic computer skills (will train), Internet competency

Staff Responsibility: 1 - 20

Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales, Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Implement price and credits policies, Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, Develop and implement marketing strategies, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Determine staffing requirements, Recruit and train staff, Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise, Customer service oriented

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation

Ability to Supervise: 10 people or less
