Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $20.49 per hour for a 37 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed university.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Work Setting: Social service agency

Specific Skills: Conduct demographic, social and economic analyses, Conduct research, Develop questionnaires for social survey research, Conduct surveys and analyze data, Compile and interpret statistics on social issues and policy research, Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles, Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia, Provide consulting services to government and other organizations

Additional Skills: Supervise professional and support staff and students, Recruit and select staff, Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity licence check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Tight deadlines

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly

Work Location Information: Rural area

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people
