Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Salary: will be $9.00 to $10.50 per hour for a 24 hour week.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: at least a full year’s experience.

Work Setting: Specialty shop, Clothing store, Sporting goods store

Type of Experience: Salesperson/clerk

Product Experience/Knowledge: Men’s clothing

Specific Skills: Operate cash register, Customer service oriented, Set up displays of merchandise in windows or display cases, Process money, cheque and credit/debit card payment, Suggestive selling, Work with minimal supervision

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving

Other Information: Responsible to work independently and take charge of the store in Manager’s absence. Hours may fluctuate between 24 -40 hours a week. Potential to develop to a manager’s position if interested.
