Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days and evenings. Shift work is involved.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or B or C), WHMIS Certificate.

Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components

Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Diagnose faults and malfunctions

Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, Drive manual transmission vehicle
