Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Work Setting: Hardware store

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Electronic mail, Basic computer skills (will train), General office equipment, Internet competency

Staff Responsibility: Not required

Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors’ operations on sales, Balance daily transactions, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Customer service oriented

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Work Location Information: Rural community

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people

Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information: Must be able to physically to able to lift heavy. Experience with bookeeping an asset. work in a team environment.
