Terms: This is a temporary, full time job, which requires working nights and weekends. Shift work is involved. Some overtime will be available.

Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed college or technical training.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification.

Area of Specialization: General duty, Geriatrics

Specific Skills: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions, Develop and implement health education programs, Provide nursing care, Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
