Credentials required: The applicant should have Stationary Engineer 2nd Class.

Work Setting: Pulp and paper industry

Type of Equipment: Computerized control systems, Low pressure boilers, High pressure boilers, Pumps, Motors, Switches, Valves, Gauges, Meters, Pneumatic controls

Specific Skills: Operate automated or computerized control systems, Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Perform routine equipment maintenance, Clean and lubricate machinery and components, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities, Write plant or building operation reports, Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures, Use computerized Building Automation System, Use computerized Preventive Maintenance System

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Decision making, Significant use of memory, Continuous learning

Other Information: Must have pulp and paper experience.
